A Rich,Colorful History.

The grand 33,000-square-foot, Tudor-style Natirar Mansion was constructed in 1912 as the summer home of the Ladd family of New York City. The estate was acquired by the King of Morocco in 1983 who owned it for nearly 20 years, and was subsequently purchased by Somerset County to preserve and sustain the majority of the estate as a public park. A public-private partnership was created between Somerset County and local businessman, Robert Wojtowicz, for 90 acres of the property to renovate and restore the Mansion, and to create a splendid new public Resort, restaurant, 12-acre farm and private club. Mr. Wojtowicz subsequently teamed with Pendry Hotels & Resorts to undertake construction of a luxury boutique hotel (Pendry Natirar), a world-class Spa Pendry and twenty-four private homes (Pendry Residences Natirar) in a gated enclave named Abby Road.
